Fantasy Football Week 1 Rankings: Wide Receivers
With an array of depth at the wide receiver position, there's going to be some tough choices. These are the best ones.
CeeDee Lamb
The best receiver in the league, expect Dallas to pass it early and often thanks to a depleted backfield. Cleveland’s secondary is good, but not CeeDee Lamb good.
Tyreek Hill
Amon-Ra St. Brown
Garrett Wilson
With a (hopefully) healthy Aaron Rodgers, Wilson can finally have his breakout. Rodgers always favors his WR1, so expect a massive season from Wilson, starting strong early against an average San Francisco secondary.
Justin Jefferson
Puka Nacua
Nico Collins
Cooper Kupp
While having two receivers in the top 10 is a bold take, Stafford plays hard against Detroit, so expect his two favorite receivers to have a field day. Cooper Kupp is this team’s best receiver when healthy, so expect no less than a top 12 finish this week.
AJ Brown
Drake London
Rashee Rice
Chris Olave
Jaylen Waddle
Devonta Smith
One of the best WR2s in the league, and with the game-plan looking to have him back in the slot, Smith has a real chance to breakout as a top option. If Jaire Alexander is able to contest AJ Brown, Smith could have a field day in Brazil.
Ja’Marr Chase
Mike Evans
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Tee Higgins
Following contract disputes all off-season for Ja’Marr Chase, the superstar receiver still hasn’t shown up for camp. This puts Tee Higgins in a prime position to perform in his potential absence. If he does play, expect second year cornerback Christian Gonzalez to lineup opposite of him, a player who managed to keep even Tyreek Hill in check in his rookie year. Expect Tee Higgins to benefit no matter what.
Stefon Diggs
DK Metcalf
DJ Moore
Davante Adams
Deebo Samuel
Michael Pittman
In what will be a run-first offense all season, Michael Pittman may not live up to his current expectations. Thankfully for him, week 1 presents Indy with a matchup that they’ll likely be behind often in, meaning they may need to rely on Pittman to keep them alive late. Temper season long expectations, but start him with confidence here.
